Many people feel a mystical attraction towards the Everest Region located in the north east of Nepal. Yes, of course this region is the home of Mount Everest (Sagarmatha), with its 8848mtr, it is the biggest mountain of the world. But Mt. As said before the Everest region is located in the North East of Nepal, Sagarmatha National Park spreads over an area of 1,148 sq. km and ranges from 3,300 mtr (11,000 ft) to 8848 mtr (29,029 ft) which makes it the highest place on earth. The region is home to the musk deer, derow, ghoral and the Himalyan Thar, also to the red-billed chough, the yellow-billed chough and the blood pheasant.
